Prices, conditions & how to Choose a car in Dubai

We run a car rental operation in Dubai, and we know that most of our clients come here for one to two weeks. During that time, people want to cover the city itself and get out beyond it – to the Hatta mountains, Fujairah’s beaches, or Abu Dhabi. That kind of pace calls for your own wheels: taxis and car-sharing just don’t give you that freedom. That’s exactly why weekly car rental in Dubai is one of the most popular formats in our fleet.
Weekly rental runs about 20–30% cheaper than daily rates. That’s not a marketing gimmick – it’s real savings: the lower daily rate applies as soon as you hit 7 days. For example, the Hyundai Santa Fe goes for 350 AED/day on a daily basis, but drops to 270 AED/day on a weekly plan. Same story with higher-end models: the BMW 430i Convertible comes out to 470 AED/day on a weekly rental instead of 600 AED daily.
What’s included in the weekly rental price
We don’t like surprise charges on the final bill – and neither do our clients. That’s why basic insurance, 24/7 technical support, and vehicle maintenance are all built into the price. You can also add airport or hotel delivery – handy if you’re landing late and don’t want to deal with logistics right off the plane.
What’s covered in the standard weekly rental package:
- Basic insurance coverage for the full rental period
- Technical support and direct manager contact around the clock
- Zero deposit – no security hold required on many vehicles
- Flexible car delivery and return at a location that works for you
- Clean, well-maintained vehicles with no hidden damage
The deposit question is a big one. A lot of rental companies freeze a substantial amount on your card, which is just inconvenient. We offer deposit-free rental on many models, and our clients notice the difference.
How to pick the right car for your needs
The right choice depends on what you’re actually planning to do. For business trips around the city, sedans and compact crossovers work well – the Mercedes-Benz A250 AMG or Lexus NX 250 are solid options. For family trips with luggage and kids, the KIA Carnival minivan or the spacious Nissan Pathfinder SUV make more sense. Want something memorable? The Ford Mustang or Porsche 911 Carrera on a week’s rental will give you a completely different experience of the city.
Car rental per day in our fleet covers every segment – from the budget-friendly Chevrolet Groove starting at 135 AED/day all the way up to VIP-class vehicles including Lamborghini. That matters, because you shouldn’t have to pay for a class you don’t need – and you shouldn’t have to hold back if you actually want premium.
What to check before you book
Before you finalize the rental, a few things are worth clarifying. First, the mileage limit – ours is generally more than enough for getting around the UAE. Second, fuel policy: the car goes back with the same fuel level it had when you picked it up. Third, documents: foreign nationals need a passport, home country driver’s license, and an International Driving Permit. Minimum age is 21.
On alligator.rent, booking takes just a few minutes – pick your dates, choose a vehicle category, leave your contact info. Someone from our team will reach out to confirm the details. No lines, no unnecessary paperwork.
